Clinic Policies
At Cosmedica Australia, our policies are designed to provide clarity, fairness, and transparency for every client. They reflect our obligations under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), and the professional standards that guide healthcare in Australia.
Privacy Policy
Cosmedica Australia complies with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
We collect information such as your contact details, relevant health and medical history, booking and payment details, and communications with the clinic. This information is necessary to provide safe consultations and services, manage bookings, support aftercare, and meet our legal and professional obligations.
Your information is stored securely in password-protected systems with access restricted to authorised staff. Records are retained for the period required by law and professional guidelines.
We will not sell your information. Information may only be disclosed with your consent or if required by law.
You have the right to access or correct your personal information at any time by contacting info@cosmedicaaustralia.com.
Please note that as a health service provider we are legally required to retain health records for a minimum period and cannot delete them on request if this would breach those obligations.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
At Cosmedica Australia, we value your time and the time of our team. This policy ensures fair and transparent booking practices in line with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
A booking fee is required to secure all appointments. This fee is non-refundable.
If more than 48 hours’ notice is provided, the booking fee will be held as credit for future appointments.
If less than 48 hours’ notice is given, you arrive more than 15 minutes late, or you do not attend, the booking fee will be forfeited.
Refunds will only be provided where required under ACL, such as if a service is not delivered with due care and skill.
Refunds are not available for change of mind or where outcomes vary, as individual responses differ.
Clients are responsible for providing accurate health information, arriving on time, and following pre- and post-care instructions.
Complaints & Feedback
Cosmedica Australia values feedback as an important part of maintaining safe and professional services. If you have a concern, you are encouraged to raise it directly with your treating nurse, or by contacting the clinic to speak with a member of staff. You may also choose to submit your concern in writing by emailing info@cosmedicaaustralia.com.
We will make every reasonable effort to resolve complaints through our internal process in a fair and respectful manner. If a matter cannot be resolved with us, clients have the right to escalate their complaint to the Health Care Complaints Commission (HCCC) NSW or the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
