LED OPTIONS AND PRICINGWe begin with how your skin has been feeling, what you’d like to improve and how it has responded to skincare or previous treatments.
Your Registered Nurse assesses your skin alongside your health history and current routine, supported by EVE Muse skin imaging. We explain what we find and how it guides the focus of your facial.
One visit may call for more attention to congestion. Another may focus on hydration and a gentler approach. We recommend the steps that suit your skin, explain what improvement is realistic and guide how your facial fits into ongoing treatment.

WHAT TO EXPECT-
Before Your Treatment
Your nurse listens to how your skin has been feeling, then assesses it alongside your health history and routine. They explain what they recommend and why, including the expected benefits and potential risks, and answer your questions before you settle in. Nothing begins until you feel comfortable.
-
During Your Treatment
No two Clinical Facials are the same. After cleansing, your nurse works through the steps chosen for your skin, with more attention to congestion one visit and hydration the next. What you feel depends on those steps, from cool applications to a little tingling. Your nurse checks in throughout, and your comfort guides the pace.
-
After Your Treatment
Your skin may feel freshly cleansed, more hydrated and comfortable. Downtime is usually minimal, although redness, sensitivity, dryness or irritation can occur, and reactions to skincare are also possible.
Before you leave, we explain how to care for your skin at home, when to resume active skincare and how to reach us with any concerns.

Questions About
Clinical Facials
-
A Clinical Facial is a 60-minute facial planned around your skin by a Registered Nurse at our Bellevue Hill clinic. After a skin assessment, your nurse chooses the steps that suit you on the day, which may include exfoliation, extractions, hydration, masks or LED light therapy.
-
Not at all. Book your Clinical Facial and your nurse will assess your skin, explain what they recommend and plan the appointment around your concerns.
If you have several concerns, or would like a longer-term plan, a Skin & Cosmetic Consultation gives us dedicated time to assess and plan.
-
HydraFacial follows a defined treatment system centred on the HydraFacial device: cleansing, exfoliation, extraction and hydration. A Clinical Facial is more flexible. Your nurse chooses the techniques and skincare that suit your skin, whether that’s congestion, hydration or a gentler approach for sensitivity.
Not sure which to book? Call or email us and we’ll help you choose.
-
Often, yes. Sensitivity guides every step, so we ask what tends to irritate your skin and how it has responded to past skincare and treatments. Some skin does best with a simpler approach.
If you have active inflammation, infection, broken skin or an unexplained reaction, we assess it first and advise whether a facial is right for you now.
-
It can, depending on your skin. Where suitable, exfoliation and extraction help address blackheads and blocked pores, and your nurse considers the type of congestion and your skin’s sensitivity before recommending either.
Inflamed or deeper breakouts usually need a different approach. We’ll tell you what a facial can do for you and when further assessment would help.
-
Most clients come every 4 to 6 weeks. If you’re working on a specific concern like congestion, monthly can suit you better for a time. If you’re maintaining healthy skin, a little longer between visits is usually enough.
We’ll recommend what suits your skin, your routine and any other treatments you’re having.
-
Yes. Ideally book 2 to 3 days before, so your skin has time to settle. Share your event date when you book and we’ll recommend the right timing and steps.
If it’s your first facial with us, or exfoliation and extractions are being considered, a little extra time is wise. Even a facial with usually minimal downtime can leave temporary redness or sensitivity.
-
A Clinical Facial can address surface congestion, dryness and some changes in skin texture. Deeper scarring, persistent pigmentation or more pronounced changes in firmness usually call for a more targeted treatment.
We explain the difference and where we’d begin. Anything that needs a medical diagnosis is referred on for appropriate assessment.
